If you love pizza and ever planning to visit or stay near the Tampa Bay Area or Central Florida, you must stop at MidiCi – the Los Angeles-born Neapolitan pizza company that opened its first Tampa Bay restaurant in Tyrone Square Mall, St. Pete, Florida.

Recently I visited MidiCi during an Influencer event and had an amazing time enjoying their delicacies!

The Ambiance

As soon as you’ll step inside the MidiCi, you’ll see the quote “People are the best thing that can happen to anyone” painted in large lettering on the wall of its open kitchen. It creates a very inviting ambiance.

The decor of the restaurant is contemporary and modern. In the middle of the dining room, you’ll see a real live olive tree adorned with twinkling lights that give the illusion of being at an Italian outdoor cafe.

MidiCi The Neapolitan Pizza Company, St. Pete, FL | ReviewThe open kitchen is the heart of the MidiCi where you can witness ‘The making of your Pizza’ in action! From the stretcher who takes a dough and stretches pizza and passes it on to the pizzaiolo who makes your pizza and puts all the toppings on it. Just watching the entire process of making pizza is an overwhelming experience in itself.

MidiCi The Neapolitan Pizza Company, St. Pete, FL | ReviewThe true stars of MidiCi’s pizza making process are its two Acunto-Napoli brick pizza ovens imported from Naples itself. Some of the parts of the ovens are heated up to 900 degrees so that the pie is cooked within 90 seconds, keeping the crust soft on the inside and crispy on the outside as well as it keeps the veggies stay fresh!

MidiCi The Neapolitan Pizza Company, St. Pete, FL | ReviewFor all vegan and health-conscious folks, MidiCi has got you covered with its housemade gluten-free Neapolitan crust pizza as well as vegan cheese and sausage. Therefore you can delight your palate without feeling guilty!

MidiCi The Neapolitan Pizza Company, St. Pete, FL | ReviewThe Midici’s hand-crafted pizzas have the thin crust and with its every bite, the glistening cheese melts in your mouth keeping the taste of veggies so fresh in your palate. I was impressed by its single bite and gulped the rest of the slice!
