5 Cities In The USA That You Have to Visit At Least Once in Your Lifetime

The USA is big and there are a lot of destinations that would be amazing to visit, but even in a country that big and interesting some destinations are more special than others. If you are set to visit America, no matter how long you plan on staying, you will only get to visit a small part of all that it has to offer. So make it count! There are some destinations in the USA you just can’t miss and, if you ask me, these five cities are the best America has to offer and should be seen by every person at least once in their lifetime.

1) Seattle, Washington

No matter where you plan on starting your journey to the USA it is most likely far away. That is exactly why Seattle is the perfect starting point. The city of coffee is the birthplace of Starbucks. But when it comes to this refreshing beverage, Starbucks is the least Seattle has to offer. So, start your journey with a beverage that will wake you up and energize you for the whole trip. Also, don’t miss out on visiting the Pike Place Market. Seattle’s oldest farmers market is the place to meet the real Seattle and it is well known for Rachel the Market Pig. This piggy bank is collecting funds that are later donated to the market’s social services. While here you should also visit the Space Needle, Seattle’s famous landmark, and the Museum of Pop Culture. Before you move on, have another cup of Joe to keep you going.

2) New York City, New York

New York is also known as the city that never sleeps. If you are going to visit New York that Seattle jolt of coffee will help you stay you. The cultural capital of the USA will keep you entertained throughout your visit. Say hello to Lady Liberty, climb the Empire State Building, walk across the Brooklyn Bridge… There are too many things you can do here, so start walking like a New Yorker and make the best of your time here. Visit some of the best museums in the world, like The Museum of Modern Art, The Metropolitan Museum of Art, the Guggenheim Museum, The Frick Collection, and the Whitney Museum of American Art. Catch a show on Broadway, and before you move on have a stroll through Central Park and enjoy some of the most beautiful nature in the busiest city in the world.

3) Los Angeles, California

After the hustle and bustle of New York City, go relax in Los Angeles. The home of almost every beloved star of the silver screen is also a pretty laid-back place. You can take a stroll down the Walk of Fame or Venice Beach but be on the look-out – you never know who you can run into. There is so much more to LA than meets the eye. Even the locals have a saying “only in LA”. It would be best to explore this city with some help from a destination management company. A good DMC in Los Angeles will help you experience its culture like a true local while making sure you visit all the important tourist spots. So, relax and enjoy your visit while someone else does all the planning.

4) New Orleans, Louisiana

New Orleans is very different from the rest of America. This city is well known for its French and Spanish Creole architecture. But this is not just the place where you will revel in beautiful historic buildings but it is also the place of the unique culture in the whole America. New Orleans is well known for its cuisine, being the birthplace of jazz, and numerous festivals, like the Mardi Gras. You must visit the French Quarter and enjoy the nightlife of the most interesting place in America.

5) Honolulu, Hawaii

After an exciting journey across America, end your travels in this tropical paradise. By visiting museums and historical monuments you will get the chance to learn about the history of the islands and the USA. The white sandy beaches, waves perfect for surfing and the beautiful greenery covering the islands will help you relax. This is the perfect place to finish your journey, take in everything you saw and learned about the USA, and relax before heading back home.

    1. Totally agree with you, I’ve been to all of these except for Hawaii and found them all beautiful and unique. I’m from Chciago so I’m a little biased with NY, but I think I loved NOLA the most.
