Hair Goals By Kim Kardashian

The Kardashian family has set many trends regarding fashion and makeup. Together with her family, Kim Kardashian knows how to take care of her looks. Therefore, it is no wonder that her hair and its quality and gorgeous hairstyles are some of the idolized goals many women try to achieve all over the world. Is it hard to get the Kim’s hair? While it’s true that she’s blessed with thick and strong hair, thanks to proper hair care routine, good hairdresser and a proper diet, hair goals set by Kim Kardashian can definitely be reached.

Dry shampoo for textured look

Kim undoubtedly experimented with many hairstyles and colors but one could say that her iconic look is darker hair, full of healthy shine with layers and loose waves. According to Kim, it is pretty easy to achieve this look, especially after the first day of shampooing, when the hair is easier to deal with. Of course, the amount of products she uses for her hair to look like that has to be pretty big, but she swears by dry shampoo, which helps her hair stay textured and in place.

Sleek ponytail is always trendy

Another one of Kim’s great hair looks is, of course, her sleek-back ponytail. It’s not very beneficial or healthy for your hair to keep it in a ponytail all the time but every couple of days before the shampooing this look can turn out to be very elegant and fashionable. Kim says that she uses ceramic iron to straighten her hair and make sure that every hair is in place but if you don’t like the idea of having to use heat on your own hair, the trick with hairspray can significantly help in order to keep everything in place and get that sleek look without heat damage. Simply spray some hairspray on a toothbrush and use it to further comb any unruly hairs.

Go shorter for volume

While we are used to seeing Kim with long hair she isn’t afraid to change up the style and cut it when necessary. She showed her fans how perfect her iconic hairdo with soft waves can look even with a shoulder-length hair. This kind of layered cut is a great way to achieve volume and lightness since the ends won’t be pulling the hair from its roots and there won’t be too much weight making the hair completely flat.

Blunt ends for a striking look

Kim’s recent look, which was not a change as dramatic as her platinum blonde days, also inspired many ladies out there to play with bobs of different lengths, rocking them completely straight for a more edgy feel. Still, in order to make this hairstyle work for you, some obvious hair maintenance is in order. While we can still only guess what kinds of products Kim actually uses, her visit to Nioxin hair beauty event wasn’t unnoticeable, which makes us wonder what from the range of Nioxin hair products does this celebrity uses on a regular basis.

Go easy on the shampoo

A major shock to many of her followers on Instagram was the moment when she stated that she actually shampoos her hair only twice a week. While some people can’t go a day without washing their hair, one has to wonder whether often shampooing actually does more damage than good since Kim’s hair is very thick and healthy and she obviously doesn’t find the need to treat it with shampoos very often. You might want to try to minimize your hair washing and check for yourself whether the quality of your hair and scalp will improve.

Kim Kardashian is a celebrity who treats her looks very seriously. There’s no reason why anyone else couldn’t have the luscious hair like she does. The fact is that you need to get to know your hair perfectly well and provide enough effort in its proper care and styling techniques.

    1. I have tried sooo many times not using shampoo every day, but it’s so difficult for me! I can’t stand the feeling of having greasy hair with dry shampoo to mask it, haha.
